New to Blogging I am Remy Lebeau. I am Indy's resident C++ expert, and a member of the
Core and Mercury teams. For those of you who have ventured into Borland's
newsgroups, I am also a member of Borland's elitist peer-support team known as
TeamB.
I've been using Indy since back in the days when it was known as Winshoes
before Indy was ever a gleam in anyone's eyes. In this blog, I will try to
share my insights into the inner workings of Indy, and why certain things work
the way they do. Especially with the introduction of .NET support in Indy
10, some tasks are made simplier and some are made more difficult than in
previous Indy versions - all in the guise of supporting a single codebase that
is capable of cross-platform development.
I will also provide tips and code snippets for common as well as
hard-to-understand tasks. And to answer some of the common questions that
appear in Indy forums over and over.
